Who We Are

At Purple Car, we recognize that family and friends aren’t always available when you need transportation. Whether it’s for a medical appointment, a grocery run, or a social outing, Purple Car is your sidekick every step of the way. We offer peace of mind to both you and your family.

The idea for Purple Car came from my experience with my mother, who lived alone well into her 80s. As her eyesight declined, so did her confidence in driving, and ultimately her level of independence. She was not comfortable with the concept of a rideshare service, and though she had friends as well as me, she hesitated to inconvenience anyone.

Your comfort and confidence are our mission at Purple Car. Our “Get to Know You” visit allows you to meet your driver and ensure mutual comfort, along with the chance to determine the level of support you would like.

Purple Car fills the void when family and friends aren’t available or when you simply want to treat yourself to an outing. Remaining independent is crucial at any age, and Purple Car is here to support your journey.

  • Schedule transport for a block of Therapy appointments without juggling everyones schedule.

  • Refer to map for service area
  • Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
  • Clients must be ambulatory and safely walk the distance reqiured
  • Service agreement must be signed prior to initial transport
  • cost of service quoted following “Get to Know You ” session
  • * Purple Car is not currently equipped for wheelchair transportation service.
